Our challenge was to paint a piece that is inspired by another artist's style. After a couple struggles, and a failed Matisse attempt... I started to wipe this with my brush and what do you know, it kind of reminded me of Gerhard Richter. It made me think I'd that is how he came up with his blurred pieces--frustration leading to inspiration?
