Glazes

Well, back to school tomorrow, so I painted over one of my earlier pear 10-minute black-and-white sketches so I could try to figure out how this water-mixable paint works as a glaze.  I think I might still want to do one or two more glazes over the entire pear to really make the red pop and give it more luminosity. 

The sketch wasn't strong to begin with, so I'm not sure how I feel about the "improved" version.
